Just had to thank Dec Hogan for signing my copy of his renowned book “A
Passion for Steelhead”. Dec was a hero
to my brother and I in our early years chasing steelhead on the Skagit, Sauk,
Stilliguamish, and Skyomish Rivers where he was making a name for himself as a
premier spey caster and steelhead guide.
We still talk about running into him at the small fly shop in Mt. Vernon
(Skagit Anglers) when we were in High School.
Keep an eye out for the 3rd printing of his book coming out
in August 2012.
